Hotel staff is nice, the house is clean, the garden is cozy

Hot water is not hot, just a bit warm, which means very cold when the temp. Is low in winter. It's ok if you only stay one night and take no shower for just one night.

Lovely hotel with well-kept gardens, excellent rooms, and great bathrooms. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are friendly and efficient. The location is conveniently close to the airport. a great place to stay. 

We loved the staff. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The setting of the hotel was also immaculate and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!

Was great to have electric blankets on the beds but the rooms were a little cold in the morning.

I had the pleasure of staying at Shambaling Boutique and it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area, yet still conveniently close to Boudhnath Stupa. The beautiful grounds and traditional Tibetan decor made for 

Tibetan style architecture and hospitality. Comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Thoughtful touches in hotel like your suggestions and heating pad in bed. Good breakfast included. Beautiful peaceful garden
